Based on the 2021-2022 data, the undergraduate student population at AUHS is greatly skewed towards women students, with 76.4% of undergraduate students being women and 23.6% being men. The total number of full-time, first-year undergraduate students is 369, with 282 women and 87 men.
On the other hand, the graduate student population at AUHS is greatly skewed towards women students, with 66.7% of undergraduate students being women and 33.3% being men. The total number of full-time, graduate students is 135, with 90 women and 45 men.

The largest ethnic group among the students is Asian, comprising 49.9% of the undergraduates population , with a total of 183 students.
Following closely behind are Hispanic students, constituting 30.2% of the student body, with 111 students. African American students represent 8.7% of the population, with 32 students, while White students account for 4.9%, with 18 students. Hawaiian students account for 2.7% of the undergraduate student body, comprising 10 students. Finally, Mixed race students have the smallest representation at 2.2% , with 8 students.
