Based on the 2021-2022 data, the undergraduate student population at CCAD is greatly skewed towards women students, with 70.2% of undergraduate students being women and 29.8% being men. The total number of full-time, first-year undergraduate students is 976, with 685 women and 291 men.

On the other hand, the graduate student population at CCAD is greatly skewed towards women students, with 66.7% of undergraduate students being women and 33.3% being men. The total number of full-time, graduate students is 24, with 16 women and 8 men.

The largest ethnic group among the students is White, comprising 67.2% of the undergraduates population , with a total of 656 students.

Following behind are African American students, constituting 8.4% of the student body, with 82 students. Hispanic students represent 8.0% of the population, with 78 students, while Asian students account for 6.2%, with 61 students. Mixed race students account for 5.6% of the undergraduate student body, comprising 55 students. Finally, Hawaiian students have the smallest representation at 0.1% , with 1 students.

There is also a notable percentage of students with an unknown race, making up 4.4% of the population, totaling 43 students.
