Based on the 2021-2022 data, the undergraduate student population at HACC is greatly skewed towards women students, with 67.2% of undergraduate students being women and 32.8% being men. The total number of full-time, first-year undergraduate students is 14,023, with 9,423 women and 4,600 men.

The largest ethnic group among the students is White, comprising 64.8% of the undergraduates population , with a total of 9,058 students.

Following behind are Hispanic students, constituting 12.4% of the student body, with 1,730 students. African American students represent 9.8% of the population, with 1,373 students, while Asian students account for 4.5%, with 631 students. Mixed race students account for 3.8% of the undergraduate student body, comprising 533 students. Finally, Hawaiian students have the smallest representation at 0.1% , with 14 students.

International students make up 1.6% of the undergraduate population, totaling 227 students.

There is also a notable percentage of students with an unknown race, making up 3.0% of the population, totaling 419 students.
