Based on the 2021-2022 data, the undergraduate student population at CSCC is slightly skewed towards women students, with 54.8% of undergraduate students being women and 45.2% being men. The total number of full-time, first-year undergraduate students is 8,702, with 4,772 women and 3,930 men.

The largest ethnic group among the students is White, comprising 65.9% of the undergraduates population , with a total of 5,671 students.

Following behind are African American students, constituting 15.8% of the student body, with 1,363 students. Hispanic students represent 8.3% of the population, with 710 students, while Mixed race students account for 5.5%, with 470 students. Asian students account for 2.2% of the undergraduate student body, comprising 185 students. Finally, Hawaiian students have the smallest representation at 0.1% , with 12 students.

International students make up 0.7% of the undergraduate population, totaling 60 students.
