Lake-Sumter State College

Based on the 2021-2022 data, the undergraduate student population at LSSC is largely skewed towards women students, with 63.4% of undergraduate students being women and 36.6% being men. The total number of full-time, first-year undergraduate students is 4,342, with 2,751 women and 1,591 men.

The largest ethnic group among the students is White, comprising 53.5% of the undergraduates population , with a total of 2,307 students.

Following behind are Hispanic students, constituting 22.6% of the student body, with 974 students. African American students represent 10.6% of the population, with 456 students, while Asian students account for 5.1%, with 219 students. Mixed race students account for 3.4% of the undergraduate student body, comprising 146 students. Finally, Hawaiian students have the smallest representation at 0.2% , with 10 students.
