Based on the 2021-2022 data, the undergraduate student population at LAPC is largely skewed towards women students, with 57.1% of undergraduate students being women and 42.9% being men. The total number of full-time, first-year undergraduate students is 15,148, with 8,642 women and 6,506 men.

The largest ethnic group among the students is Hispanic, comprising 48.5% of the undergraduates population , with a total of 7,343 students.
