Northwest Mississippi Community College

Based on the 2021-2022 data, the undergraduate student population at NWCC is largely skewed towards women students, with 62.6% of undergraduate students being women and 37.4% being men. The total number of full-time, first-year undergraduate students is 6,841, with 4,281 women and 2,560 men.

The largest ethnic group among the students is White, comprising 58.6% of the undergraduates population , with a total of 4,000 students.

Following behind are African American students, constituting 31.6% of the student body, with 2,157 students. Hispanic students represent 5.4% of the population, with 371 students, while Mixed race students account for 2.8%, with 192 students. Asian students account for 1.2% of the undergraduate student body, comprising 80 students. Finally, Hawaiian students have the smallest representation at 0.1% , with 6 students.

There is also a notable percentage of students with an unknown race, making up 0.3% of the population, totaling 20 students.
