Based on the 2021-2022 data, the undergraduate student population at Regent is largely skewed towards women students, with 62.3% of undergraduate students being women and 37.7% being men. The total number of full-time, first-year undergraduate students is 4,507, with 2,807 women and 1,700 men.

On the other hand, the graduate student population at Regent is greatly skewed towards women students, with 65.8% of undergraduate students being women and 34.2% being men. The total number of full-time, graduate students is 5,823, with 3,833 women and 1,990 men.

The largest ethnic group among the students is White, comprising 50.4% of the undergraduates population , with a total of 2,263 students.

Following behind are African American students, constituting 26.2% of the student body, with 1,178 students. Hispanic students represent 9.5% of the population, with 425 students, while Mixed race students account for 4.4%, with 197 students. Asian students account for 1.8% of the undergraduate student body, comprising 79 students. Finally, Hawaiian students have the smallest representation at 0.3% , with 15 students.

International students make up 0.6% of the undergraduate population, totaling 25 students.
