Based on the 2021-2022 data, the undergraduate student population at RCCC is largely skewed towards women students, with 64.4% of undergraduate students being women and 35.6% being men. The total number of full-time, first-year undergraduate students is 6,716, with 4,325 women and 2,391 men.

The largest ethnic group among the students is White, comprising 53.3% of the undergraduates population , with a total of 3,564 students.

Following behind are African American students, constituting 19.4% of the student body, with 1,299 students. Hispanic students represent 14.8% of the population, with 987 students, while Mixed race students account for 3.1%, with 208 students. Asian students account for 2.9% of the undergraduate student body, comprising 194 students. Finally, Hawaiian students have the smallest representation at 0.1% , with 6 students.

International students make up 1.8% of the undergraduate population, totaling 118 students.

There is also a notable percentage of students with an unknown race, making up 4.7% of the population, totaling 313 students.
