Based on the 2021-2022 data, the undergraduate student population at SFCC is largely skewed towards women students, with 64.5% of undergraduate students being women and 35.5% being men. The total number of full-time, first-year undergraduate students is 3,266, with 2,108 women and 1,158 men.

The largest ethnic group among the students is Hispanic, comprising 55.0% of the undergraduates population , with a total of 1,683 students.

Following behind are White students, constituting 33.7% of the student body, with 1,031 students. Asian students represent 1.6% of the population, with 50 students, while Mixed race students account for 1.5%, with 47 students. African American students account for 1.4% of the undergraduate student body, comprising 43 students. Finally, Hawaiian students have the smallest representation at 0.1% , with 2 students.
