Based on the 2021-2022 data, the undergraduate student population at SCCC is largely skewed towards women students, with 58.8% of undergraduate students being women and 41.2% being men. The total number of full-time, first-year undergraduate students is 1,664, with 979 women and 685 men.

The largest ethnic group among the students is Hispanic, comprising 51.1% of the undergraduates population , with a total of 843 students.

Following behind are White students, constituting 30.1% of the student body, with 497 students. African American students represent 3.2% of the population, with 53 students, while Asian students account for 1.8%, with 29 students. Mixed race students account for 1.3% of the undergraduate student body, comprising 21 students.

International students make up 2.5% of the undergraduate population, totaling 42 students.
