Based on the 2021-2022 data, the undergraduate student population at UArts is greatly skewed towards women students, with 65.3% of undergraduate students being women and 34.7% being men. The total number of full-time, first-year undergraduate students is 1,397, with 912 women and 485 men.

On the other hand, the graduate student population at UArts is greatly skewed towards women students, with 71.2% of undergraduate students being women and 28.8% being men. The total number of full-time, graduate students is 160, with 114 women and 46 men.

The largest ethnic group among the students is White, comprising 50.8% of the undergraduates population , with a total of 708 students.

Following behind are African American students, constituting 20.1% of the student body, with 280 students. Hispanic students represent 14.2% of the population, with 198 students, while Asian students account for 3.6%, with 50 students. Mixed race students account for 0.7% of the undergraduate student body, comprising 10 students. Finally, Hawaiian students have the smallest representation at 0.1% , with 2 students.

International students make up 1.7% of the undergraduate population, totaling 23 students.

There is also a notable percentage of students with an unknown race, making up 8.8% of the population, totaling 122 students.
