The largest ethnic group among the students is White, comprising 36.3% of the undergraduates population , with a total of 16,288 students.
Following closely behind are African American students, constituting 26.3% of the student body, with 11,790 students. Hispanic students represent 15.8% of the population, with 7,084 students, while Asian students account for 5.2%, with 2,316 students.
