Based on the 2021-2022 data, the undergraduate student population at UoPeople is largely skewed towards men students, with 61.8% of undergraduate students being men and 38.2% being women. The total number of full-time, first-year undergraduate students is 44,825, with 17,142 women and 27,683 men.
On the other hand, the graduate student population at UoPeople is largely skewed towards men students, with 57.0% of undergraduate students being men and 43.0% being women. The total number of full-time, graduate students is 11,467, with 4,928 women and 6,539 men.

The largest ethnic group among the students is White, comprising 3.9% of the undergraduates population , with a total of 1,761 students.
Following closely behind are African American students, constituting 2.6% of the student body, with 1,151 students. Hispanic students represent 2.0% of the population, with 893 students, while Asian students account for 1.1%, with 480 students. Mixed race students account for 0.3% of the undergraduate student body, comprising 135 students. Finally, Hawaiian students have the smallest representation at 0.1% , with 41 students.
