West Valley College

Based on the 2021-2022 data, the undergraduate student population at WVC is largely skewed towards women students, with 56.1% of undergraduate students being women and 43.9% being men. The total number of full-time, first-year undergraduate students is 6,717, with 3,771 women and 2,946 men.

The largest ethnic group among the students is White, comprising 32.9% of the undergraduates population , with a total of 2,207 students.

Following closely behind are Hispanic students, constituting 31.0% of the student body, with 2,079 students. Asian students represent 21.9% of the population, with 1,468 students, while Mixed race students account for 8.9%, with 595 students. African American students account for 2.5% of the undergraduate student body, comprising 169 students. Finally, Hawaiian students have the smallest representation at 0.4% , with 24 students.

International students make up 0.6% of the undergraduate population, totaling 41 students.

There is also a notable percentage of students with an unknown race, making up 1.8% of the population, totaling 124 students.
